3D Systems' Figure 4 technology is raising industry standards for production plastic materials to shift additive manufacturing from prototyping to production. With dramatic improvements to print speed, print quality, and operational costs, materials are the final piece of the equation.

In this webinar, join 3D Systems' Technical Fellow, Print Process, Marty Johnson as he explains the breakthroughs in additive manufacturing, machine architecture, and material science that have converged to enable a fast and direct path to production.

Understand how to evaluate AM materials for production and the qualifications and ASTM and ISO standard testing that matters for properties like long-term environmental stability, isotropic mechanical property tolerances, compatibility with automotive fluids and chemical reagents, electrical data (dielectric strength, dielectric constant, dissipation factor, and volume resistivity), and more.

Key Topics:

  • Production performance properties for additive manufacturing materials
  • How 3D printing can augment the conventional manufacturing industry

Meet The Expert

For more than two decades, Marty Johnson has channeled his engineering expertise to develop new products and integrate systems. Since joining 3D Systems in 2007, Marty has focused his innovation efforts as Systems and Print Process Engineer, leading development efforts on several new technologies. Prior to joining 3D Systems, he spent time with Lexmark International, leading teams to innovate new print engine technology.
